Match the bracket bore exactly. A 2-inch bracket forced onto a 2.5-inch arm will crack within months.

Signs Your Linear Welding & Fabrication Is Failing

• The gate droops or binds in mid-travel. A cracked actuator mounting bracket lets the arm shift under load. The operator still runs, but the geometry is wrong and the motor strains against a binding hinge line.
• Fresh rust streaks appear below a weld or bolt plate. In Mesa’s climate, rust means a crack has opened wide enough to trap morning condensation. The metal is flexing, breaking the paint seal.
• The operator runs longer but moves the gate less. A separated hinge pin or elongated bolt hole lets the gate rack sideways. The actuator pushes against air until the limit switch finally trips.
